Created in 2003, the Flagstaff Peaks Aquatic Club (PEAK) is a non-profit organization that prides itself on the development of young adults and athletes. FPAC trains out of the Wall Aquatic Center on the campus of Northern Arizona University.
Coached by a group of talented young adults and overseen by experienced personnel, PEAK has grown into the premiere place in Northern Arizona for competitive swimming.
All swimmers are welcome to join. We range in age from 5 to 35 with athletes who are entry level to athletes who compete on the national level.
We have 5 main training groups:
The Pre-Competitive Group: Is mainly for entry level swimmers. The focus is on learning the four competitive strokes and turns and having fun in the water
The White Group: Is for the swimmer who knows all four strokes and wants to have a little more training then the Pre-comp group. The main focus is on developing the main strokes and improving conditioning.
The Blue Group: Is for the swimmer who is more committed and wants to develop their abilities, with a focus on overall swimming development.
The Gold Group: Is for the serious swimmer who is not quite at National level yet, but is willing to put in the time and effort in order to reach those levels; focuses on stroke technique, training commitment, and racing strategies.
The National Group: Is for the athlete who has and will compete on the National level. They are dedicated to improving stroke technique, maximizing their potential in and out of the water and are role models for the younger swimmers.
