- New look, same great FPAC!
- Former Lumberjack Lomong Chosen as U.S. Flagbearer for Opening Ceremonies
- First a reminder...there are still practices this week, only in the afternoons.
- Now on to the business
- Its a new month, but with the same FPAC results...AWESOME SWIMMING!
- At this past weekends Season Finale meet down at BEST, FPAC swam lights out!
- FPAC had a combined 38 of 47 lifetime best swims! An awesome amount considering we have been swimming best times almost every meet! Four swimmers were 100% lifetime bests in their swims, Hannah Ledvina (6/6), Ben Ledvina (8/8), Addryanna Bentley (4/4) and Rachel Burke (6/6). Way to go! On top of all the best times, FPAC had 26 of 47 swims place in the top 8, with 15 of those being in the top 3! That is total domination if I have ever seen it.
- There was a hard choice for swim of the meet due to all of the awesome swims that went on this past weekend. Scott Morrison dropped four seconds in his 50 free (which is simply unheard of). Ben Ledvina was Mr. Iron man, swimming 8 events and all to lifetime best times. Hannah Ledvina swam out of her mind to help FPAC to a 1-2 sweep of the distance Free events. The Burke family came out on fire with amazing time drops and Addy Bentley swam to new best times and also completed her first in-meet backstroke turn!
- With all that said, I am split to give the award to both Ben Ledvina and Meagan Morrison.
- Ben was Mr. Everything this weekend. Whatever he was told to do, he did. 100% lifetime best swims, eight events, 7 of 8 in the top 8 and 4 of 8 in the top 3! Congrats Ben
- Meagan was a little up and down, but when it came to the 1500 she was all business. Taking it out in her 2nd fastest 400 of her life (5:01), Meagan decided that was not good enough, the next two 400's then became her 3rd and 4th fastest 400's ever (5:05.0 and 5:05.8). With a 300 left she held on and brought it in under 19:00 (18:58.1) for a new best time by 19 seconds.
- Great swimming everyone! It was an amazing meet to watch and this season has been a pleasure to coach. Thank you.
- As always, GO FPAC!
